1. Operator
This website is operated by Ing. Pavel Valenta, Business ID 29743338, Podolí 155, 789 85 Mohelnice, Czech Republic. Contact: pavel@printandpaintstudio.com.
2. Services
Print & Paint Studio offers custom 3D printing and hand-painting of collectible figures on a commission basis. This website is a portfolio and inquiry channel only. Gallery photographs show past work; they are not offers to sell those specific pieces unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. How commissions work
- You send an inquiry (form, e-mail, Instagram, or Facebook). We reply with feasibility, estimated lead time, and price.
- A commission is confirmed only after mutual written agreement (e-mail is sufficient) on scope, price, delivery, and payment schedule.
- A deposit may be required before production or painting begins. The balance is due as agreed before shipment or handover.
- Third-party character designs remain the property of their rights holders. Commissions are intended for private display unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Cancellation and withdrawal
Custom-made pieces are produced to your brief. Once production or painting has started at your request, the order generally cannot be cancelled and any deposit paid is non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
If you are a consumer in the EU and a distance contract applies, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (see applicable consumer protection rules). We will confirm this in writing when your commission is agreed.
If you cancel before work has started, we may refund any amounts paid minus reasonable costs already incurred (e.g. materials ordered for your project).
5. Delivery
Delivery method, cost, and timing are agreed per commission. We pack pieces for safe transport; risk passes to you on handover to the carrier unless otherwise agreed. International shipping may be subject to customs duties and import charges payable by the recipient.
6. Complaints and defects
If something is wrong, contact us without undue delay — ideally within 14 days of receipt — with your order reference, a description of the issue, and photos where helpful.
A defect means the piece does not match what was agreed (e.g. significant damage in transit, missing parts, or a finish clearly below the agreed scope). The following are not treated as defects:
- Minor variations inherent to hand painting, resin printing, or custom surface work, where they do not affect display quality or match the agreed brief.
- Normal wear after delivery.
- Subjective preferences not part of the agreed brief.
If a defect is confirmed, we will agree a remedy with you — repair, replacement of affected parts where possible, or a reasonable price reduction — in line with applicable law. We aim to respond to complaints promptly and resolve them within 30 days, unless a longer period is agreed.
7. Website content and liability
Photographs and text on this site are owned by the studio unless otherwise noted. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. We strive to keep information accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website. Outcomes of custom work depend on the agreed brief, reference materials supplied, and the nature of handmade production.
8. Out-of-court dispute resolution
If you are a consumer and a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) for information on out-of-court consumer dispute resolution: www.coi.gov.cz. The European Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
9. Personal data & cookies
We use contact details you send us only to handle your inquiry or commission. We do not sell your data. Analytics and marketing cookies may be added later; this section will be updated when they are. Until then, only essential technical processing related to hosting may occur.
10. Final provisions
These terms are effective from the date shown above. We may update them; the version published on the website applies. Matters not covered here are governed by applicable Czech and EU law, including consumer protection rules where you qualify as a consumer.
